Let Africa invest in Consultancy,Thinktanks,Change the School syllabus too

I give credit to our colonial leaders who left us with various teaching schemes,Yes Thanks to the British especially if you are Ugandan like me.Well since they left we have been following and using they ordinary first teaching syllabus and schemes of training yet back home (UK) things changed and in the western world people learn vocationally not being pushed or burdened as i may put it clear to study 8 to 10 subjects and finally drop 6 or 7 to concentrate on a career/goal.

I believe we are lucking visionary people, I wish i would be given a chance to speak to Africa .
I would give a very brief speech.Let us take this example if Africa took all best and interested Teachers for further studies say post graduate scholarships in various academic fields like IT,Science,Economics,Geography,Biology name it all .Then affirmatively all Sponsored Teachers come back and teach other Teachers at Teachers Training Colleges (TTC) /Universities and pass on what they learnt.Just imagine how many skilled people shall  Africa have?

Teaching has moved from Teacher Based to Students Based meaning a pupil is given chance to express him/herself more than a teacher teaching so the pupils gets to be tailor taught where /what /how /when to apply his knowledge then being assessed to compare and know pupils' absorption rate and knowledge gain.

I teach Information technology and its totally practical when we orally speak about anything it must be seen, tried out immediately and with visual expression on a projector or desktop computer.

I really can not see any reason why i studied ,Geography,Chemistry,Biology,Physics and ended up repairing and teaching computer anatomy.Assuming i took up Information technology as a kid when i first saw the computer in 1993 where would i be now for sure.

Actually that is why in the western world a person is taught what they really love. At 17 to 20 someone already has working experience. Here in Africa only lucky youth get such a chance.

So i decided to initiate a project to start an IT institute to make IT training not only educational but vocational based learnt. Finish the course start your own venture tomorrow .How does this sound in your ears?

If it were you what solution would you give to Change Africa by a click???????

Feel free to post your views below.

Thanks its my pleasure sharing my IT experience to help anyone.
